my jboy can talk with me on the phone. he say: wei...hallo...papa... jedric went joking (jogging), got cocodie (crocodile), dinasour, elephant....rooooaaar....(i was smilling cheek-to-cheek on the other side of the phone). He then said: papa werking (working), got money, buy ice-cream, buy nen-nen.... errrrmmmm... buy yakult...errrrmmmm.... buy vege. OK, i said. He repeat wat i said... OK! i then asked him, is baby sleeping? GOT! he answer... GOT! baby sweeping (sleeping). jboy oso goto sweeping lah... look at the clock now, wat time already? 12o'clock already, u need to go sweeping dy. Good Night papa, ice you (i love you) *he just make me wanted to hug him sooooooooo tight and kiss him* too bad i couldn't. i am here in KL, they are in melaka. this conversation might means nothing to you... but to me, it means alot...means my boy started to know we are separated. he knows i need to goto work and get money to buy things. he will think and construct his sentence/dialog. he is learning to talk/chat. he is more patience. he is concentrate. he knows wat is i love you. he know the "missing" feeling.

to me... its something and i wanted to record this down. jboy, i love you and i am so proud of you.

Sneak preview of an emerald

I've found an emerald! it's nearly mine, documents are almost ready. Once done, it will be mine. Dun mis-understood, it is not a rock, not a stone, i could not afford a real rock/stone as i dun start saving since young. Tat's why!

All i can is a house for time being. My melaka hse is almost sold, so, i am very disturbed with this earlier "good news"...hahhaa...i need to find ways to clear all my things in there and move to it to "new house". But "new house" not yet mine, and because its a 2nd hand house, i need to refurbish abit here and there. It's not mine yet so i cannot "do" any renovation works...

After i have explained my situation to the seller, they agree to lend me the keys. This is the 2nd time i saw the house... ahhahaha...

This is the living hall, i think we need the paint job and the stairs need to change to laminated wood.

Living hall, need to change colour on the feature wall or shall i remain n retouch abit? i think i will go for change of colours. =)

最近闹得沸沸扬扬的白包事件，肥狗偕同笨狗向大家拜年，派派钱给华裔乐龄的当儿，也顺顺便羞辱一番。笨狗说冤枉，被肥狗陷害。肥狗说小事一桩，华语媒体夸大，又说不了解华人文化，草草了事。我怎样也听不下去，54年后的今天，你还不了解？54年前的很多很多年叻？加起来有多少年了啊？一句不了解就想算？好吧，我就当你放狗屁，不跟你一般见识，希望全部人可以看清楚你这条肥狗厉害都有限，根本不能有作为，如何替人民做事，更不用说你！对！就是你！会看明白这些字的你！不会帮你一条毛！人民代议士？干！省点吧！

好啦，过了几天，就出现猪头事件啦，普通人就会猜，应该是被欺负的人干的吧？作为报复行为。他们应该是要替被欺负的人出出气。有可能吗？有可能！可能是毛头小子，也可能是思想不成熟的某政治家想把事情复杂化。也可能是肥狗那伙干的，为了掩饰，让其他人忘了他干的“好事”。

每天都被这些笨蛋围绕着，还真感到无聊！难道不可以好好做事，脚踏实地吗？我不教你看歪，我教你好好看时事，多点猜疑，用多种角度看，自己决定未来。现在不像以前酱单纯，每个人都有心机，看有没有耍，或者耍多耍少而已。他们没为谁，为的是自己跟那几只在家等小小虫的小鸟。

emo abt my house

It's always emo when come to my melaka house. It's our 1st house, we married and we move in, we live together since 2006. Our 1st & 2nd baby was born here, the joy and all the happiness is always related to this house. Too many great memories. I just love it.

It's our 1st house, we brought it lelong. We went thru all the hard time to survey all the bank loans interest rate. OF cos, not forgetting the forever "alien" legal documents that we keep signing on every page. Our close friends help us to paint the house. There is a friend promise to help us to paint the kitchen when he is on leave, i just pass him the keys and he start paint it alone while we are working during office hour. He is suppose to on-leave... i will always remember you... my friend... i know who you are... i remember... I remember i goto the house to install the lights and the fans during lunch hour. We had a nap there during lunch hour with no bed or mattress. I have been away for too long till i kenot rmb when... eventhough i go back melaka for wedding shoot during some of the weekends, i don't go back to my house, simply becos my wife and kids are at in-law's house.

Last week, i manage to go back to my own house for few hours... all out of sudden, the happy moments playing in my head. I didn't know i missed my house so much. I love it becos it brings me all the happiness. Now, we are like a nomad, living here and there, things are not belong to us, spaces not belong to us... things just cannot go our ways. It's just so heartache sometimes, really! I wish we can have our life's back, where, we have our own space, the kids playing in their FORT without concerning breaking things, messed up the places, child safe environment, dancing in the living hall, watching the TVs, eat routine, play routine, sleep routine... at least... i do my best to control it to the lowest level at my melaka house.

God, pls give me strength to hold on, patience with the legal works which i believe on going... i have faith in my solicitor, she is doing a fantastic job.

been a long long time since my last post. things are routine for me... no more chance to eating out good food. no more posting on good food lorrr...

been working on photos photos and photos... life is boring without 3 of them near me... it gets even more depress if things aren't going smoothly. the giggles from the kids can only hear and see via internet cannot help me to forget those unhappiness...

but not for this weekend. i m here with my family. the giggle is making me feel so so good! i have been working more than 13hours with only 3hours of sleep on day b4. tired! but when holding jboy n mboy in my arm is just... fantastic! i tahan few hours longer. ah dear asked me "u not tired meh?" "its gone..." (cos i could see n feel u all now... nothing else matter!) i went to bed real early yesday, i sleep equally the hours i worked! head out to shopping early in the morning... felt extremely happy! they are just fantastic, my inspiration, my energy, my strength... i just hope i can bring u guys near to me so damn soon... pls...

p/s: i point at some picture of cat dog dolphin etc... jboy could actually reply it correctly... seeing him growing well, i m a very proud father!!! i always imagine, how could these 2 boys running around, playing together in our new house...

Papa, Wadis?

"Papa, wadis?" lil' jedric ask me as i carry him during shopping. I did not pay attention for few times, i din know wat he was saying, but then, everything seems mute and i only here his question, "Papa, wadis?" he pointed his lil finger to something he do not understand... "Counter" I answered, "ter" he followed... boy... this strange feeling... only a father can tell... i hug him close to my heart, deep down inside my heart was cheering... boy! my son! i love you! I has been very bz btw my works, my extra works, and my beloved family... running form KL-melaka very frequent. I am doing my very best, carrying my responsibility, execute it as perfect as i can... tiredness all gone with this lil monster laugh, giggle, actions...

As he almost come to 2 years old, he can recognise alot of things. He know all number except SEVEN, probably it has two pronounceable words which make him difficult to say it out. He know more than 1 to 10, he can say eleven, twelve, thirteen, forteen....etc. A to Z is a no brainer for him, just up to his mood to say it all to you only nia. Sometimes, i really thank to GOD that i am having this moment, my wife, my kids, my life. I am really happy how my wife bringing up lil jedric, he is active, smart, cheeky, playful. I thank her for raising up him.She does a fantastic job. I feel so worth it to bear all the financial in the family, its so just worthwhile.

The smaller one, Mavric came to us last month and things been even busier for me. His arrival makes me more concentrate on works, driving our dreams hard enough, chase it, capture it, conquer it. I am more determine than ever. I am so desperate to gather all of them near me, take care of them, see them around me, near me... and there is nothing else matter anymore. =)

Liverpool Asia Tour 2011 - Malaysia

One fine day i received a sms from an old friend, he ask me whether i am going for the liverpool against malaysia. I told him if he is going, pls get me a ticket. So we bought 3x RM58 tickets as the rest has been sold out. Only left RM388....definitely i will not pay for it to watch la.

After a few days, my friends wife told me she bought 2 tix for rm388, she wanna give him a suprise, so, she ask me help to sell off the rm58 tix for her. Just awhile i posted in FB, my other fren confirm the tix. So, all of us WIN! This is call win-win situation! Yay!

During the day, i acted superbly natural, i drove to their house, car pool to bkt jalil. I purposely go late cos their tix got number seat one, no need go early early one, only mine is cheaplak one. To me, sitting anywhere is the same cos i expected to see my favourite team in ANT SIZE...hahahha...

Its one hour earlier when we reach there, the whole bkt jalil is jammed up crazily. So, i propose to them, i go down to take the seat and they go for parking. (in fact, i need to go early cos its really alot of fans walking towards the stadium, n i started to worry i could not even get a place)

When i walking towards the stadium following the crowd, i could here the cheering and the drum from far! it was really really phenomenal feeling.

How i wish i could bring my jedric to this game, but i know he wun sit there quietly, so, i just can hope!

Its boring 1st half cos liverpool only manage to score 1-nil with malaysian team with a penalty from Charlie Adam, the new signing. I can see he is controlling the passing from midfield, he will be a key player for next season. Kuyt & co is warming up towards end of 1st half. He will be playing on 2nd half for sure!

Wait!!! Malaysian got foul outside the penalty box. Dunno why, i got a feeling SAFIQ will score, so, i set my camera to continuous shots.

Genting short breakaway

I booked the hotel a week ago via online website. Manage to found a reasonable price at RM98/nite @ First world hotel. I am excited on this day to come. It has been quite a while i did not take a break. Been bz with the photo shop biz (Jajemmi Foto Station). It start early this year, from planning, execution, till running now. Quite tense up when things are falling apart, yes, even my family. Miss them alot while i am all alone in this big city, miss them so so much.

Chatting over the phone or msn video call are pathetic. There is one time my son sees me in msn, he open his arms, called me Papa... this means he wan me to hold him, hug him... i could not do tat... my tears nearly blast out. So, i told myself, i need to work extra hard, achieve goals and everything will be goes smooth soon after.

So, i need this holiday badly, i need an quick escape, i need a short breakie. Only took us 40mins from selayang to genting.

This is Jedric's 1st time to Genting. We parked our car at 1st world basement 4th floor. Found a car park quite far away from the lift, no choice but to walk cos the papa not so familiar with genting...haha... So, get him ready sitting on a stroller, then, off we go!

While waiting the lift to the hotel lobby. Look how sweet he smile... he knows kai-kai means shopping.

Yay! at last we are finally here, 1760meter above sea level!

Check-in hotel was rather easy, it can be done in their check-in kiosk but i wanted to amend something, so i Q for changing it to double bed instead of twin bed. After checking in the room, it was clean and basic, we don't mind at all. Jedric is happily running around the room.

After settle down everything, we head to indoor theme park to explore. Bought 2 tickets for aldults. Jedric need not a ticket. =)

Told him to hop on a horse (marry-go-round), he shows excitement but then when his mom accompany him, and the thing keep spinning...he starts to chicken out dy. Silly boy!!!

Bring him to gondola too... as these are family rides.

He keeps staring at this "uncle".... hahahah... he must be frighten gua...

Then, we Q up for bumper car but when our turn, the staff told us he is too small to play... piang eh...waste our time waiting. apala!

I cannot remember how many time I accompany him to sit on this mini train. He is very excited on the bell as well. He keep telling me... traaaaaiiin.... So, i got no choice but to Q again and again.

After a few family ride, we oso tired already, so, we head back to hotel to take a quick nap. Dinner will be meeting up a friend whom works here. She will bring us for good food.

This two ladies keep talking when they meet up. Only few minute they did not talk, tat is becos they bz chewing the food. So, me n my son gets bored... he pulled me up, asking me to bring him around. Hahaha... we go ferris wheel another round.

We checked out next day morning, the breakfast in 1st world cafe has improved compare to my last visit few years back. I would rather call it a canteen, becos, here everything is fast and in volume. We decided to enjoy cool breeze outdoor today, so, we had some walking.

"Look papa, i found a dunno-wat-lock, how come got lock here one?"

We then walk back to 1st world, had the ice-cream she showing interest yesterday (i pull my wife away when she stare at it yesterday)

We waited >20min for the to get ready our serving. It does look like "frying" the ice-cream, actually they use the chiller to make it chilled. Wat is special? i dunno! the bottom cup is made by chocolate in liquid form, they freeze it and mold it into a cup for the ice-cream.

Tadaaaa... Gelatomio ice-cream, ICE-CREAM ON THE ROCK! U get to choose 2 flavours of ice-cream, few toppings.

Too bad, we gotto enjoy it without tables and chairs. According to the staff, they are new and waiting Genting to provide them some seats.

My boy sees this and keep saying he wants "Ice keeeem"... just give him a spoon and he will do the rest, no need to teach one. The portion is too big for us and we cannot finished it. So, i ask the staff "tabao" for me, he then add more toppings on it...omg, already cannot finish liao.

We reach selayang house abt 3something in the afternoon. I felt terribly warm when back... i just love the cooling weather there...

P/S: special thanks to Adrianne to bring us to good dinner, love the durian dessert. We had a very very bad lunch in the food court... yuuuucks, now tat dinner call food la...hahhahaha....

Everytime i hear our minister being interviewed, they cannot answer it correctly! 1st, they did not hear wat is the question, in their heart they are so defensive till they shut their ears! They just wanted to say wat he wanted to say, is this a debate? y r u so defensive? i have never hear other minister from other country so defensive? We need some one who is charisma, able to handle the situation calmly and not like wat we hear/see in the video. Obviously, we did not vote them to represent us! They are being "choose" not becos they are capable, just to fill up the table.

Y u wanna quarel with a journalist? Can you be diplomatic? this is world wide TV, whole world sees this! Y u wanna mention other country, y u wanna condemn others and just to show u r better? Y u wanna interrupt, when ppl is asking you a questions? Never hear and fully understand the whole situation! The example u given is totally not related. Pls dun answer when ur head is HOT! Cos... u r mempersiasuikan...

Having love ones by ur side is always a bliss... see ur kid interact is...fuwah, i kenot express my happiness to you but all i can say is, i am blessed with love ones. Been awhile i never had a break. So looking for tmr's short break with my love ones. Biz has started since april, i almost work daily, trying my best to put it on the right track... and it seems on the right track now. I need to work extra harder to give it a full force, add more steam to run faster, efficient. Part and pieces is coming together, i am fixing it, soon, it will be complete. I need to be "jia you" more! I promise to settle down very fast and will be smooth flowing afterwards. We will stay close afterall.

Accommodation has booked for the short trip, so looking forward, i'm gonna make them happy then i will be happy. Pray hard it will went smoothly. I gonna take alot photos. Thanks for everything, God.

Photography - Water Drip Experiment Shoot

I was bored in the shop, feel lazy to continue edit those wedding photos. So, i decided to take a break, pick up some of the old photography magazines to get some creative ideas. Manatau the shutter bug bite me and cause my hand itchy, body itchy. And i start to do some setup for a totally new challenge. A new type of photography that i did not do before i.e water dripping!

It's really spontaneous and thank god, i could use all the things i have in my shops. And the setup went really smooth and i can start shooting after 10mins. It was easy! :)

Here are only 2 picture that able to present, not perfect, not satisfied but at least it can be presentable, to let u all see.

All these were done in Manual mode, shutter speed at 1/1250, aperture at F8, ISO at 200, manual focus. Need to preset the focusing and use continuos mode to shoot until i get my desire water dripping style. I uses my Sony A550 + minolta 35-70mm F4 lens (commonly called "mini beercan"!)

It was fun! Doing something that is out of box is certainly FUN! i would certainly to try it again.

Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro

I am never a gadget guy. I like those gadget, i will read and know abit of them. But i never will buy them unless i really need it. I do not own a smartphone right until my ex-company give me one BB and started to fall in love with the push mail technology. It gives me real time update of emails, FB, whatsapp, etc.

I can response those emails fast and in convenient way. After i returned the BB due to i have resigned from the company. I fall back to my SE K810i which is during that time, it was the powerful phone as it offers 3.2MP cyber shot camera. And there is one fine day, i hand itchy, go and update my phone software, it slipped my mind that my phone is AP set, which means, it could be from other continent. So sueh...really, after i updated, the phone no doubt is faster, but i could not read chinese message, oh piang.

I went online to search on how to install chinese language into my phone, did trial and error, end up i give up and switch to searching for new phones. I do not like iphone really, simply becos i could not type well on touch screen. I like keypad like BB. So after few days searching and i found in lelong and mudah, there is a seller selling cheap stuff. Pick up the phone and call him up, he provide delivery service sumore, amazing service. So, i pick a phone within my budget and its has keypad and its a smartphone with apps, works on android system. I never know wat is an android but i decided to give it a try.

The phone (X10 mini pro) cost me RM538 plus delivery RM7, total RM545. The seller deliver it to my shop. I was really amazed, he told me he coming from subang area. OMG!

Now, let me show you how my new phone look like... =) teehee....

I simply love the wallpaper, an android is trying to eat up an apple. If you smart enuff, u know wat its mean... =)

My 1st (2nd) "Father's Day Present"

Didn't know its Father's Day. Ah dear wish me happy father's day on sunday morning baru i know. So, for some celebration, we go out for a great sunday breakfast. Then follow by lazy shopping at MP, Melaka. I wanted to buy Khalil Fong's CD. After survey 2 shops, i decided to get myself one. Then, i pass my wallet to ah dear to proceed paying. Manatau, on our way back, while listening to the new CD bought, she told me its a present from her as Father's Day Present. I was like ??!?!?!?!.... oh ok, thanks. I think this is the 1st time i received a father day present lorrrrr... so touching tim....

Not only CD, i bought myself a cute T-shirt @reject shop. I fall in love with the t-shirt after i saw it. When i check out the price tag, it was reasonable price, so, i decided to buy it.

I work for my own, my family now. I no longer working for bosses. Things has change in 2011. I jump out from semicon, step into a whole new world, whole new industry. Which i know ZERO. A lot of things i have learn thru out the setup of the shop, every little things, tiny little things, u need to take care.

But, there is no shortcut, you need to do it step by step. Of cos, without my family back me up, it will be tougher. Thanks God they are here by my side.

Pls help to retouch for me

It has been entering the 3rd week of running Jajemi Foto. Well, i have learn many things already. So many thing to do, so many things to think. I even will think what to do for tmr every nite b4 i went to bed.

There are few cases customer ask me to retouch the valuable photos. One is her mother's "car front" photo! He wants me to retouch the bad condition. Some part of the photos has been eaten by termites, and due to moisture, the photos stick on glass and being peel off. I took a look on the photos and i replied him with a big smile "Yes, boleh buat!" He paid the money and i promise to give him 2days with very very minimal charge for retouch. Once i have done with it, i sms him to come collect, i can see his face of relief after seeing the photos. I felt superbly happy when i see my customer happy with my service or works. To be honest, working on a "car front" photos is quite....errrrr.....scaring. I received this case during evening time, alone in the shop, when the customer left the photo with me, i dun dare to look into it until my sister come over to help me out.

So, i fast fast take out the photos, snap it with my A550, start to PS while there are accompany....hahahah. I will not show you the photos due to privacy and respect to the one who pass away. So, now the customer got a new photo with softcopy. He is more than happy with that! I think...

Another case, no negative, only hardcopy. Want me to retouch and put on some colour. This is more challenging. I said i will do my best.

This is the original copy. So i paste it on a plain A4, take picture.

Start retouch the peel off part. Once done, i add in the colours layer by layer...

Here is the final prints...How is it? Amazing...i love it. Fantabulous!

Superbly hot weather for the past few days. Alone in my shop one day, no one with me, no customer, not at peak hour...(i oso dunno when is peak hour)...hahahha.

It been quite a long time i din had any cola, so i sneakout, lock my magnetic door and went to nearby s99 speedmart to buy one for myself.

I had my 1st sip....it was fantabulous ah! It cool me down right away. Wat a bliss...

But then, while i still have half bottle, mom come over with a glass of COLD FRESH Orange juice! She ask me to drink...then i show her my cola, immediately her face black black and scolded me! whahahaha.... Pls la...i long long time din drink cola liao...dun always think i drink very frequent la... Not true! Not true! I seldom drink one.

One small lil experiment i found out is... when u feel very very hot and beh tahan, go n get urself an ice cool drink, be it sluuuuuurpeee from 7-11 or any other can drinks from elsewhere. It will definitely cool you down, and half way drinking, u will start feeling cold liao. The most effective one is sluuuuuuuuuuurpee... ;p

Go try it out if you beh tahan the hot hot weather nowadays!

My shop open on 21.04.2011. 1st day of biz, i am a bit kan-cheong, a bit messed-up, a bit angry bird...etc.

The technician from supplier is supportive enough to arrive at 10am to help me out with the setup. To be honest, the machine is still lacking of something, condition isn't that ideal. That's why technician is needed.

Well that is the front portion/entrance of my shop.

The greeting flowers start coming in one by one.. i am suprise and happy even though i have ask all my friends not to send me flowers... i nearly drown in a seas of flowers... This above is from all my siblings.

Signboard is installing now... i am inside my shop having my very 1st batch of prints. Listening to music from ipod in an empty shop. I have been on-site training for two days, learning how to handle day-to-day operation. I certainly have my own way of doing my own things, my own photos, my own colour decision, so, it's my call, my quality! I am still learning how to tolerate blur prints... i will do my best to adjust it.

Machine is up and running now, nothing much but to get myself use to it. Machine operation to me.... is nothing but to "play" more and use to it. For empty shop, stocks will be coming in later today, once arrive, i will start to decorate/display it in my expensive cabinets.

What else i need to do? I am just being too kan-cheong for now. Always worry that there is something not done yet... c'mon jack... its show time... my SHOW time! aja aja fighting!

二零零五初，我离开家，到一个陌生的州属上班。。。那时的我，哭了。。。

转眼间，已经是整整六个年头。我。。。结婚了，买家了，有自己的地方，小两口不怎么有钱但也不差，也换了两份工作。二零零九年，迎来我们的第一个宝宝。他，是个男的，很调皮，有时也很乖巧。今年，我们将迎来第二个宝宝。而我，也将要开始创业了。我将回到吉隆坡去经营生意，是关于摄影的店。

而今天当我开始收拾东西时，六年来的一幕幕在我脑海里投影着。。。很多开心的，也有不开心的。。。六年前的我是个黄毛小子，现在的我，不再执著，也学会了很多，洗碗，洗衣，做菜。。。样样都会一点，不过不失啦。想起将要离开这里，心里万般滋味，说真的很不舍。心情跟六年前差不多，只是没有哭而已。。。

至于朋友们，谢谢你们一直以来的陪伴，我会永远牢记在心里。我们有缘再见！

Tadaaaa.... sneak peek of my lil' shop...

A yellow/orange colour bg for my counter...the place where i am going to sit and work on the photos... the back must be strong and bright to support me! This is only my concept/thinking... not related to any auspicious thing! And the tiles is ready now, it makes the whole shop so bright, its wat i want. i am so happy when i see its ready!

My cousin is working on the lectrical points, my down lights... almost ready... by the time i post it, it is ready liao.

My front portion of my shop, super expensive tempered glass... no choice... it make the shop look nicer.

My soon to be studio, small size, i hope i can shoot some family portrait here.

Brand new 2HP york cassette ceiling aircond, RM2800...expensive la... but again...it look nice... teehee...i know..i m spending... its abit on track now..i hope the cabinets won't be exceed my plan budget...

Till then... let me show you more when i got the shop ready in middle of April, i hope... *finger cross*

Another challenge of my life

It's been quite sometime i did not update this blog here. Been busy building my other career, my photoblog. Lotsa wedding shoot in month of march. In the mean time, i also busy with my main job as a sales, new year new strategy, new plan. Need to visit customer often for new projects. Bosses has given me pressure to perform...

Well, tat's life for a sales person, only results matter, not how many customer u see, how many project u got...it the $ales they concern...

I have tender my resignation on 21st of Feb 2011, and official last day is on 31st March 2011. This is agreement btw me, HR and my boss. So, after clearing leaves, my last working day is on 24th March 2011. So, now, i have been Melaka-KL to check out my renovation.

Oh, i forgot to mention...i m starting my own biz in photography. I opening a photo shop in Selayang, my hometown. Renovation is in progress now. I will share some photos when i have more free time. The shop will be selling cameras, accessories, developing photos, passport photos...etc. It's call <JAJEMI FOTO STATION>

How i feel now? Happy of cos! i am fighting for my own, doing sales for my own...it very much depends my effort. So, the more i do the more i get (i hope...) =)

Year 2011, its a new challenge year to me! I hope i can achieve something in my life and this is a small step for me! Let's pray i can do something here...

It's located in taman merdeka permai. whereby the interchange to malim.

the seats here are limited, its rather small i would say. so, if you can't find any seats, u can consider take away or FREE delivery!

This is the counter for ordering. once ordered, just wait for collection. If you want take away, they will provide u the plastics. else, for dine in, they will provide you the plate.

Best solution for cracks

Do you still remember that MRR2 having cracks few years ago? The JKR ppl hire some expertise from germany (i think) to solve the issue...

We did not hear abt the cracks anymore, i think they have finally solve the issue once and for all...

They cover it with netting, so, you won't see any cracks happening again. If u cannot see, u will not fear... How come we did not take note of this brilliant idea?!?!

It is working fine now!

Not my effort, all the parts i replace seems not solving the problem.

So, i dulan... i send it to KHIND service center for checking. Manatau, only few days, the technician kaotime liao. Niasing...

at the end it is this long long white colour thing on the right bottom corner got problem... technician change liao then its working liao.... #$^#!^$^

wasted all my money to replace other parts... dulan sial...

Restoran Tom Yam Klasik, Melaka

It's been a long long time i last visit this restaurant. In fact, after they have moved from ayer keroh to bukit beruang area, i did not visit before.

After so many years, i decided go for another try on the tom yam.

I ordered tom yam & fried rice for my dinner.

I would say, i like the tom yam soup, it's spicy, it's sour, it's tom yum! Yum yum! One thing i wanna highlight is, the seafood tom yam i ordered, has alot of prawn inside, it suprises me.

Even my pineapple fried rice, has alot of prawn.

Boy~~ look at the cilipadi, i am all sweating... fuyoh~~

I roughly calculate the prawn, it has about 16pcs from my tom yam & fried rice... this is consider alot for an normal meal, rite?

The entrance of the restaurant. Need to pass by a walkway whereas underneath is a big pool with fishes. I think this is their famous gimmick gua... last time oso has such pool.

I would say it is nice to have a decent meal by the pool, relaxing, chilling out here.

4th Anniversary 2010

30.12.2010 marks our 4th anniversary. Wow! So, i propose to eat out today, together with ah dear's family.

My lil' tiger with his tight fitting tiger suit.

I order some nachos for all sharing. Man this is soooo good. It's beef with cheeze, lil's bit of indian spice on the meat. It goes really well with chopped tomatoes and pepper.

This is my son's FOC hotdog meal. Kids eat for free when u order a main course.

top left: ah dear's curry devil rib, full flab, RM55.90.

top right: Fil's chicken, RM30+

bottom left: Sizzling chicken for Mil and Bil. RM30+

bottom right: my steak, i forgot the name ;P. RM30+

Mine was so good with medium-done. The beef were sooooo tender.

Oh i forgot to mention you the name. Our dinner place is called San Francisco Steak House. Just open a branch in melaka.

The ambient is good. The concept is bar+dining.

Broken Flash and lens

I dropped my camera together with my flash during a job. It was a bad start of the day. I was trying to shoot this picture, I climb up to sofa just to get this shot, when i come down tat time, just when i turn away, my camera neck strap hooked on the sofa, the whole system came off my hand and dropped. The system hit the floor from knee height. The flash came off the camera hot shoe, it was forced! so the flash hot shoe broken. The IR cover broken, the wide angle panel broken. DAMN! i was holding my camera and flash all day to secure the connection. It was a really tough job and i am glad i complete the task.

Well, for the lens, it was nothing happen, just a bit under expose after the dropped. I din not pay much attention and i tot my setting are not correct. But when, it come to dinner reception, the lens was not functioning and black screen all the way. My flash dropped for the 2nd time during the dinner, the super glue didn't work out.

The IR cover came off...

The hot shoe was broken.

So, i contacted SONY service centre melaka to check out the spare part. It cost me RM169.00. I tot it was lucky to spent only 10% of a new flash, so, i ordered and fixed it myself.

Procedure is rather simple, remove screws and a ribbon cable, replace and DONE!

For the wide angle panel, it cost RM50 for some easy mechanism part. I dun think it is worth to replace, in fact i seldom use it. So, my solution is to use scotch tape to tape it.

For my lens, it is still under warranty. The lens does not have dented mark so i send it to warranty claim. According to the service center, the said the aperture blade jammed. After service, it is working fine. So, they sent it back to me.

My lens now is back to normal. Flash is working fine. Everything is up and running again. Thank god.

Bird bird infection

Monday nite, 8.30pm, found out that Jedric's bird bird was swollen. I think shud be infected during the beserah trip. We put him into pool and swim.

The clinic will be close on 9pm, so, we rush there and it clock 8.50pm. The waiting list is 8person infront us. We waited for 40min to see the doctor.

My poor boy, this is the 2nd time he got infected, doctor says if happen often, then need to do circumsize to solve the problem. Well, i say, let's see when he is 2-3 years old. Doctor gave antibiotic, 4ml one time, twice per day. RM50 for the visit.

How to prevent this to happen leh? i believe my boy love water and will have frequent visit to the pool. How leh?

If you are a laksa lover like me, i urge u to try out something different @ Mary Cafe, in melaka raya. This shop is owned by peranakan, so, nyonya food is authentic here. Mee siam, nasi lemak, laksa are specialty here.

I ordered laksa bihun+mee. Cost me RM3.50. It's cheap for a shop in melaka raya. The laksa is not so "kao", not so thick in taste. The lemon grass is a must for this dish. Needless to say abt the frangrance la...

The laksa got half piece of egg. Yummy!

My house is like a kindergarten now. Sticker are every corner.

Even in my bedroom also have. He alway tell me "buuurr....buuuurr", tat means ballon. "ummmmp" with hand motion, means aeroplane. He know fish, stars, bird, duck, A for apple, D for dog...etc

Duck is his favourite, and i buy alot of things with duck in it.

Had my dinner in station 1 cafe, melaka baru. As usual, dilemma over wat to eat for dinner. Browse thru the menu upside down few times also cannot make decision. At last, i manage to choose pasta. SURFER SEAFOOD SPAGHETTI, RM14.90. Shud be nice, got scallop and big prawn, sluuuurp sluuuuurp!

Manatau come out like tat!!!! i so pity the prawn wei... The tomatoes as big as you wei...

So, i learn something again today, photos are fake! Dun ever trust photos! Rmb tat photographer!

Family Hi-Tea

Had our hi-tea at grand season hotel @KL. A place where our family members hang-out for hi-tea session. Chit-chatting and gathering on a lovely sunday. I pick up my new camera this weekend as well, so, pics below are my 1st try on my Sony A550. No flash with high ISO settings.

Because of all sorts of food, i bz eating and throw my camera to my nieces and nephews to simply shoots thru out the hi-tea.

My sisters bought some hi-tea voucher during matta fair, i think. One voucher worth RM45+ and she got it at RM20+, so happily she bought one stack.

We all are having great times eating, chit-chatting, joking, updating each other... tat's good!

I like to put my junk for sale online if i dun really use them. I can cash out for the junk.

Here is a good example of my wide angle converter lens. Brand Bower. I ask Chang Fong to buy for me in US and it cost me USD37.70, which converted to ringgit, is about RM131.95.

Guess how much i sold online? RM150 FOC shipping! hahahaha.... Yes, got ppl buy...

Well, here is another one... ipodium, i bought in lowyat, and its for my ipod. Too bad the ipod now, its not mine anymore. And the ipod is not ipod also. Why i say tat? because, the ipod is not use as playing music, it serve as an external hdd by ah dear.

*sigh* i cannot use it. So, rather let the speaker sitting in a corner doing nothing, i decided to let it go to someone who really use it.

I put up an ads in mudah and within the same day after the ads is published, i got a sms interested to buy and COD in melaka. Meet up with the guy and its SOLD! Easy!

The sets is pretty new and i only use few times. It can play nokia phones, SE phones, Ipod and PSP. With remote control tat i never use b4.

The guy very interested after seeing the whole sets. Look new and good condition. Of cos la! i dun simply sell things one la, and i dun SKL ppl la, if got problem, i will tell upfront one.

But guess wat? how much i sold? i sold it @RM45. Cheap rite? and guess wat again?! how much i bough? RM50!!! and guess wat again and again? how much selling price now? RM25!!!

My New Camera - Sony A550

I bought my new camera SONY ALPHA A550 on 30.10.2010 @Zaloon, Pudu Plaza. The latest model A580 is selling like a hot cake, so, i worried A550 will soon end of life. I call them up and ask for the right price, RM1800, Mr. Chin from Zaloon says.

After checking and checking the numerics in my bank account, i decided (force) to buy it advance to my plan. Actually i plan to buy a new camera next year. But too bad, the timing has just came knocking, i need to act to it.

My camera's very 1st shot! He is Mr. Chin. And some of the shots while i am on my way back.

Look how clear and sharp the picture. I did not PP anything, its as shot! I am drooling with its performance.

Special function, auto HDR. The exposure is very well done here after 3 different exposure fired and auto combine by camera. Amazing technology by SONY.

Went back, immediately try out on my lovely Jboy la... i purposely set to high ISO to see its performance. ISO1600, still good. I love it!

Family Brunch @ Levain Boulangerie Patisserie

14.11.2010, Sunday.

10something in the morning, Siew called home and ask our parents wanna eat bread. 1st thing come into my mind is "cham-beng", yeah~ She says its at KL/ampang area, wow, so high-class! Brunch need to go so far meh, in my heart i think.

Dad hear eat roti, he straight away say NO! i nag him: "y u so degil? ppl wanna bring you try new things mah, go loh! we go together"

Then both of them change their mind to go with us and go change baju dy.

After getting ready while waiting Siew to come, mom see me playing with my camera and ask try my photography skills and my new camera capability, hahaha... Actually, she got her new baju, something different from wat she normally wear. More young look...

The place call Levain, it has all sorts of bread, many many many... Wat is so famous? oooooh~ they use stone bake, natural yeast, their decor is english style.

You can pick watever you want, proceed to payment, get a seat upstairs or downstairs. Something to mention about, they converted an old bungalow house into a cafe/restaurant. The 2nd floor has been converted into dining room. The rooms are meant for dining. 2 big spacious rooms available upstairs. Yeah, dining in a room, its so english!

As usual, i'll just leave it to my sisters to order as they are more familiar here. We just waiting to eat nia. Mom is checking out all the roti we order, she try small piece each and every type. Geng! She loves the durian flavour one, i think so too... i m not sure cos i only take one small bite.

Dad is hungry i think... he taking his napolitan spaghetti.

I am too full as i had bf at home tabao from pasar, so i only take latte, the latte is super good! If you guys knows me, you know i dun really like bread in the morning. Hahahah...

Mom and dad says, if miki is here, she sure will like it, they both know she likes bread. Hmmmmph, ah dear, u see... do you know wat they like to eat?

We are really enjoying our sunday, we eat, we try everything, we chit-chat, we laugh, we experience... in a dining room. Feels like a private function. Nothing beats this... we truly enjoyed and i really treasure this moment with my family.

Our streamyx has a new promotion early this year, its called "1Malaysia Computer package". It comes with free wireless modem, and a netbook. Its only RM68/month, no hidden clause.

My current 1MB package cost me RM88/month and i dun have anything. So, i decided to apply. With such a good promotion, many ppl are trying very hard to get this package. But there is another criteria, it says, only for those kampung-kampung area. Luckily my taman is kampung area. I am qualified.

I call them frequent to check my application status. Soon after, the telephone line ppl come and install a new line. Then few weeks later, the streamyx ppl come. Some ding-dong action going on and at last i get my line fixed.

After a week i got my new streamyx, i received a poslaju parcel. Open up and see, my netbook has arrived.

Ee Jin told me proton has a lancer model launched recently. I said, sure boh, after so many years, our national car maker still buy mitsubishi model? I thought our national car maker have bunch well trained designers?

Well, a lancer with local logo and selling 30% cheaper...why not to have a look? The next day, my colleague send me some pictures.

Picture above showing the difference btw original mitsubishi and proton inspira. To me nothing much different from the picture. Well...ok...

Car brochure photos is very very well taken. Look at the interior. Impressive with the wooden interior rite?

Lets have a look on the outlook. OK, just logo changed. A trademark shape change to an animal. Errrr...nvm... as long as the price is attractive.

The front, oh man... the nose part should be bigger portion in black... "this is not a lancer" again i remind myself.

I went and have a look myself at bachang branch. Showroom car is very well polished and always looks tremendous. As usual, i knock the front lamp, bonet, every metal part of it. The sound of the metal....is just...sounds....not right.... it's "kuang kuang" sound i told my colleague after my visit. Means not solid, very thin layer feel.

The auto transmission one is crowded with visitors, so, i turn to 1.8 manual transmission. I go inside the driver seat. Well, i quite like it. The dashboard is cool, front interior is cool and spacious. I adjusted to my normal driving position and went to the back seats. The legroom is spacious. I love it. Then came a malay guy sitting next to me. Well, 2 persons at the back is comfort. But then, i told the fella, if another person sitting in the middle, tat would be sempit lah, he agreed. The middle seat had no place for your leg, there is a "lump". So, not comfort at all.

Then the malay guy added, "wow, the seat lembut lah, persona nye keras, ini OK!" I did not agree and just have a smile back. I was thinking, the seat is lousy, it is not solid at all, to me, its wrapped with some cheap sponge. When i sit in, i was sunk in, i dun like it. It does not support me and my butt.

Carboot portion, the brochure shows 4 pcs of luggage can be fitted. Else a mountain bicycle can be inserted with back seat incline to give space. When i open up and see... different story. I dun think it can fit a mountain bike lorrrr, mebbe my boy's bike la... in a magnifying view. There is one "palang" inside the carboot, this palang makes it worst. It is not spacious to me. Spare tyre is not sports rim.

Car tyre is 16" continental. OK la...

Engine are mivec, according to them, 1st batch with limited qty are using MIVEC engine. MIVEC is from mitsubishi motors. They only tune with proton/lotus. Well, but still a mivec. Impressive. Only limited, dun be fooled, after 2nd and the rest, no more MIVEC. So, if you buying one, pls chk properly. The salesman might sinkalan u.

Then i proceed to take a piece of price list and see.

The price:

1.8 MT (E)- RM78,999.00
1.8 CVT AT (E) - RM84,999.00
2.0 CVT (P) - RM91,999.00

Let's see some simple calculation.

10% deposit, loan amount 90%, 7years loan, u need to pay from 1000~1250 per month. 9years loan, 880~1000.

Well, u sendiri think la, see worth it or not la. I told my fren, i actually dun like a proton, so, my review are all negative one. Why? because i know tat the car price export to other country are cheaper we malaysian buy in malaysia. Means, we malaysian is paying the price to other country. Which this disgust me alot.

I even joke with him, the price u pay for, does this free you from one hand holding steering, one hand holding money to pay toll, and try to make another hand to push down ur window, after paid the toll, one hand on steering, one hand try to push the window back. I dun even wanna mention how is the scenario if you driving a manual transmission, gear, clutch, accelerator. U need "Paul" to handle a proton car, rite? How about the odometer, which like to go up and down suka-suka one.

I advise him, with the money you pay, u rather get a TOYOTA VIOS or HONDA CITY, yeah, i know, 1.5cc, who cares? These car are so reliable and give you problem free. I dun simply say one, look at my car *touch wood*, i bought 2003, i finished my loan in 5years, i used to paid RM1170 per month which lead me to hell life. But then, after i finished, the car still give me same performance. I dun need to push my window up or down. I dun have any problem with it after almost 8years?!?!

Well, you see, you heard, you sendiri go and feel and think what i say here are true or not. =)

Malaysia BOLEH! Proton BOLEH! We BOLEH!

DIY: Microwave not heating up

My mircowave is running but it is not heating up. Why? As usual, as a SinKaLan, i do some online search for solution or possible rootcause.

And i found... possible rootcause... the article says, you will hear a loud buzzing sound, ur tray is turning, fan is working, but the food isn't heating up at all. This could be due to malfunction of these 2 parts below.

1) Malfunction Diode.

2) Malfunction High Voltage Capacitor.

Hmmmm...That was easy, so, i continue to read and search for the parts replacement. I goto the brands website, its a malaysian company, so, i did not take much sweat to get their CS contact. Wrote them emails and provide them my microwave model, together with the parts brief description and photos.

Not awhile, they replied and they will send the parts to Melaka branch, all i need to do is collect from there. Well... the price for both item is less than RM30. This is cheap i think! if i were to send for electrician to repair, it may cause few hundreds.

Above is the replacement. I am so eager to replace it. It took me 10min for the replacement. I continue to re-assemble back the casing and let it test to see whether it works or not.

Ah dear was scared the microwave might explode and ask me to test it outside... Ceh! look down on me... i told her, i just unplug few wire, take out the part, put back the same part from same manufacturing and put back the wire... how can it "bomb"?

I then proceed to test it. On the switch, no explosion, OK...wat next? put in a cup of water, heat it up for a minute and we shall see the results already.

I pressed "1", "0", "0"... on the panel...then start button. This means cook it for a minute.

1......

the timer stops... after spinning for a minute.

I open the door and take out my cup and try to have a sip...

OMG!!!! (u guess it wrong...)

it din work out...niasing!!! Ah dear was laughing in the living room... WTF?!?!?! Dun give face to me. With very much disappointment, i went upstairs and online reading again.

I have missed out the 3rd possible rootcause.. i.e the magnetron. YES, magnetron, not megatron in transformer, well, yeah, some ppl also call it transformer la... eh...not the one u imagine one la.

So, wat is the next step? i need to open up again, detach the part, order again lorrrr... i hope this will not cost me much la. pls pls pls...

What happen to our bahasa?!

I really dunno wat happen to our national language. Sometimes, i even feel a waste of effort and time to learn it.

WHY? See picture below...

Gerenti?!?!?! WTF?!?!?! Gerenti=Guarantee in english. Why must all our bahasa need to sounds like english? Why we just plug it from english? I thought we have a word call "Jamin"!

Not only this word, this apply to many others words being direct translate from english. If you are aware, u will know what am i talking or bitching abt.

It makes me feel, i totally waste my effort, my time to learn all this words/language. In the end they just imitate or plug it from english.

Why is this happening? GLOBALISASI??? (globalization) i am too disappointed with our ministry. What my child going to learn in the future?

Pls wake up and follow back your tradition! We are Malaysian, 1 Malaysia!!!

He found his long lost "companion" (pacifier) in his masak-masak basket. Without 2nd thought, he put it into his mouth and start sucking. It was so funny when i see this situation.

I dunno why he does that. He sendiri abandon this pacifier when he is 9-10 months old. We gave him tat time but he refuse to suck on it.

After several months, he found it, and he love sucking on it. I try to pull it out but he hold it very tight. Well, i leave him alone to continue play with it. Not awhile, it was being abandon anyway.

I really dunno why, i dunno how to explain. I find it very funny and i laugh out loud. He is trying to be a big red lips clown ah?!

This my boy, is just too funny and adorable...isn't it?

Jedric's new hair cut - OCT '10

He is one year old now. His hair still less compare to other kids. But it grow thicker and long compare to full moon.

One fine night in october, his mom have a hair cut for him while he is sleeping. Zap~~~ the front is shorter and straight. OMG! my poor boy... you look like a korean boy, nvm la, korean style...ah rain oso cut like tat one.

Side ears oso shorten already. Poor boy...

We use google every now and then to search things we want. Me too. Recently, i have try to search my photo blog, to check how far i stand.

To my suprise, i am very behind. But Danny's one is on the 1st page. You need to type in in google "malaysia wedding photographer melaka". You will see danny's is on 1st page.

Danny rank #2, and mine rank #3 after i have change some setting and design in my blog. My ranking jump from behind page, right on 1st page.

Seriously, no joke, both our blog is on page #1 if you type in "malaysia wedding photogrpaher melaka"!

My Biz card design

I think most of you know i am a freelance wedding photographer. Yes, i do provide photography service together with a partner, Danny Koh. It all started with his wedding on JAN '10, i took for his wedding. Then a few times partnering together. Our partnership has been improving alot.

So, few months ago, he proposed to me to have a biz card for our photography biz. I agreed and start designing some draft.

This is my initial draft. I proposed to him and he agreed too.

This is front. I would like the card look as a film strip with our name and details on it.

Then, the back, i would like ppl to remember this big camera. By looking at the card, immediately i want them to know we are photography related.

Once confirm of the design, i digitalized it using photoshop. During the design stage, i got another idea, so i follow my sudden idea and came out with this.

This is mine.

This is Danny's. Immediately i send it to Danny to have his feedback. He told me he like the design, not only him, Justine like it too. So, i think, we can have a common agreement lorrrr.

The next day, i call the printing shop to ask abt the price. Then both of us go and make.

We make 2 types. One is expensive one, with spot UV, round corner, thicker size because of matte lamination. The other type is cheap one, very ugly type. It cost us RM13/100pcs. We need this turnaround solution fast because we need to use it on wedding shoots. The 300pcs expensive one need abt 1 week to produce. We got no choice.

Pay our deposit.

This is the total we need to pay. 400pcs of biz cards per pax. One person only RM113. I think quite reasonable.

After a week, we got our nice nice biz card. It looks more professional now. Hahaha...

The comparison of RM13 and RM33 per box. Look at the quality and the appearance.

Now, i can proudly distribute my biz card to ppl already. Hahahha...

Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you, we are "THRU THE LENS PHOTOGRAPHY"

父親是一位廚師，把她帶進廚房。
Her father is a cook, bring her into the kitchen.

他先往三口鍋裡倒入一些水，然後放在旺火上。
He goes toward first to pour into some waters in 3 pots, then puts on the fire.

不久，水開了。
Soon, water boiling.

他往第一口鍋裡放一些胡蘿蔔，第二口鍋裡放入雞蛋，第三口鍋裡放入碾成粉末的咖啡豆。
He put some carrots in the first pot, put an egg into the second pot, put some coffee powder into the third pot.

20分鐘後，父親把火關了，把胡蘿蔔撈出來，放入一個碗內，把雞蛋撈出來，放入一個
鍋內，然後把咖啡舀到一個杯子裡。
20 minutes later, father off the fire, take out the carrot. Go to the scond pot take out the egg, and then ladling up

the coffee to a cup.

The father turned to ask his daughter:

「孩子，你看到了什麼？」
'Kid, what do you come in sight of?'

「胡蘿蔔，雞蛋，咖啡。」她說。
「Carrot, egg, coffee」She say.

He lets her come closer to touch the carrot.

She noticed the carot become soft.

The father lets the daughter take the egg, breaking it, peel the egg shell,this is a cooked egg.

Last, the father lets her drink a mouthful of coffee.

胡蘿蔔入鍋前是強壯的、結實的，放進開水，它變軟了、變弱了。
The carrot, before put in to the pot, it is strong and hard, after putting into the boiled water, it become soft,become weak.

雞蛋原來是易碎的，薄薄的外殼保護著液態的內臟，開水一煮，內臟變硬。
The egg is originally crumbly, the very thin outer shell protects the
internal organs of the liquid, once the boiled water cook, the internal organs become hard.

粉狀咖啡豆則很獨特，進入沸水，它們便改變了水。
The coffee bean powder then is very special, entering boiling water, they changed the water then.

在艱難和逆境前，可以學胡蘿蔔、雞蛋和咖啡豆，可以屈服，
也可以變得更堅強——甚至，可以改變環境。
We can learn how carrot,egg and coffee bean react in the difficulties and adverse circumstances. They can accept defeat, can become stronger, and even can change environment/surrounding.

Had a very nice fish head noodle in kuchai lama, KL recently. It was a famous one indeed. The soup is very thick and its cook with condensed milk. Price is abit high side but for such quality food, it is all worth while.

This is the name of the restaurant. Located in Kuchai Entrepreneur Park.

Who need a good amplifier?

I am not a boom boom guy. So, u wun get boom boom in my car.

I m not willing to spent few thousand ringgit for a car speaker, amplifier, or CD changer. I just dun...just not interested.

But lately i got a new gadget, its uses USB thumb drive to play ur music. Dun need a CD anymore. It can play many many songs, ur favourite tunes, in a USB thumb drive. It only cost me RM10. Wow! with this, who else need a CD changer tat cost thousands?!?!

So now, i can put all my favourite artists into one folder and play their songs, without changing CD. All in a thumb drive.

Oh yeah, let me briefly introduce how it works. It actually a transmitter using radio frequency. It transmit the songs out and ur original car audio will received, and plays it. !st of all, u need to sync both frequency to same channel.

I am so happy with my car audio system now... i can boom boom now looooo....

Another BKT entry from me. Yes, i m BKT lover. I love to try BKT.

This one is located at link road btw batu berendam and malim. Name of the restaurant is Qian Li Xiang. They are hokkien BKT, its typical klang type. Means the soup is black. The normal we had in melaka, normally is teochew type, soup is a bit clear.

I would say, this BKT is good. They have also dried BKT, which i personally think is good as well. Try it if you have chance. =) TRUST ME LA...sure nice one.

Change LCD for handphone

Ah dear has been complaining her handphone LCD got one line of dead pixel. After since, the dead pixel become more daring, they get stronger by widen their territory. Means, more lines, and affected vision. SMS or calls cannot be seen clearly. Anyway, the phone has already been torture for almost 3 years already. Time for a change to help out semicon world!

Well, i bought a new pink SE and newer for her bday 2010. So, the old one is serving as a backup now.

So, my curiosity always make me fix this and that, especially electronics stuff. I decided to open up the phone and to see wat is inside, how they build it. No point i sell it off becos it is already got defect. If sell oso cannot sell high $$...

This is the LCD compartment area. I went to lowyat with the LCD sample, i manage to get replacement part RM55. Happily i went home and replaced it.

The phone is working fine now after i have replaced the LCD. Hahahaha.... i just love the feeling when successfully fixed malfunction things!

中秋节快乐 2010！

昨天跟姐姐通电话，她问我明天是中秋节，怎样庆祝？我冷冷的说，没有庆祝，没什么大不了。她问为什么，我说“痴线！”就没有回答她。

以前，朋友们会相约在这天，烤肉，又或者聚一聚。犹记得多年前，有位朋友邀请我们到她家做客，吃月饼，谈谈天，吃吃maggi面。也蛮有意思的。然而，现在的我们，以“很忙”为借口，忽视这节日的重要性。

以前，人们说中秋节，月圆人圆，家好月圆，一家团圆。《月亮圆》这首歌，好久都没唱了。

那好吧，今天我要来个小小的庆祝。谢谢姐姐的提醒。

老古董thumb drive

太扯了吧！我坏掉的128MB老古董thumb drive，原来是掉了一颗resistor，把它solder回去，它竟然复活了！我真的快笑爆嘴了！

就是这个老古董。是一位前老板送我的，Eddy Guo！

它呀，可是陪我写出很多的部落格哦。当我开始写部落格的时候，它帮忙我储存照片。然后回到公司上载。（因为那时候我家可没有internet哦）

久而久之，随着时代的进步与科技的发达，它渐渐的被更大容量的thumbdrive给取代了。那时候，我买了支2GB，要我RM60。现在，2GB才卖RM20。而我现在有了支8GB的，好大，好好使！

好吧，现在它复活了，我可以把它储存一两张图片吧，当作transfer用咯。

老婆近两天生病了，还在复原中。今天，连我也败下来了。她的细菌实在是有够强的。

但还好，今天发生了一件快乐的事。我家宝贝会走几步了。大概两三步吧！看了好兴奋呢。

我想他长的有点快，多两周他就要满一岁了。牙齿也有八颗了，摸到应该还有一两颗快要冒出来了。

让我拍下他走路的样子，然后再更新给大家看。

This is pop pop i played 20 years ago. 1980 ~ 1990... i will always remember how happy the pop pop girl face.

Well, the world keep changing and some say one thing that is consistent is CHANGE. We need to change to keep up the pace, globalization they said. Just imagine the same packaging design being used for 20 years and continue using... can this work?

Let me show you, small little pop pop girl also has changed. I think she went for a trip to Korea... keke...

Anyway, i just wanted to say, play it safe on this festive season.

One fine morning while i m on my way to customer's place... i open my door and i saw some blueish rubber pieces scattered around on the floor.

1st thing come into my mind...looks so familiar...OMG!!! it's my NIKE sandals! Ma CiPet!!! Cophie bite my sandals into pieces!

few days ago, cophie was biting my other unwanted sandals, i did not scold him or beat him, because the sandals i don want already one.

But then... i still wearing my nike one leh... heartache to the max, i use my sandals whack kao cophie kaolat kaolat...

i really dunno wat to say or wat to do... i only can start look for a new pair... DAMN! the nike only last 11months... as i still remember i buy it a day b4 RAYA 2009. My poor thing... *sigh*

Alone during work. No one eat with me. So i have all the time in the world and choose watever i wanted to try.

So, Ah Hui Bakuteh is my target. Its located in melaka raya. Same row with taiwanese beef noodle.

This is my lunch @2pm+ on a weekdays...

Rice is soft and fragrant rice. Vege is normal.

The bakuteh is good, but the herbs make it a little bit too sweet for my liking. Worth a try!

Price is not cheap when you have BKT in town area. RM8/pax.

今年也满特别的，少了90%祝福的短讯，却多了许多在FB留言的祝福。没有特别的计算多少个，总之超多的，每一个都去读，每一则都回复，答谢大家的厚爱。

还有什么特别的？当然少不了一直陪伴我身边的ah dear啦。。。还有一位复克版的小小我，楀哲宝贝咯。有了他，生活完全生色不少啊。

Repair my Clip Mini Bluetooth Handsfree

My clip mini bluetooth handfree has been malfunction for quitesometime. After further verification, i found out that the connection wire inside were broken. So, i have cut both end completely. After stripping the wire, i was almost fainted. The wire is special type. What is special? oh... the wire has a coating on it, so, this means, it is not easy to reconnect back, for eg, twist both wire -does not work here.

The only solution is, i have to make sure wire tip need to have connection to the other tip. To be honest, to solder in such way, its not possible. So, my use lighter to burn the coating of wire, hoping the coating are burnt off. Then i pair them together, make sure all tips are close to each other, then i use soldering method, make sure the tips are well soldered.

I need soldering gun and solder tin of cos.

Then, i use heat shrink tubing to cover back the connection. Well, it look nicer, isn't it?

Moment of truth again? Yes, it works fine now, the on/off button able to work, i can answer the phone, i can listen to wat the other end say. But one weak point is, the noice level are quite high, this might be due to poor connection as it is not original anymore. But I dun give a shit, as long as i can use back my handfree.

Wireless can be real cool... heck, no need to spend mponey to buy a new one...money saved for other use....hahahahah... yay!

Big 4 - 大马演唱会 07.08.2010

我已经不记得上一次看演唱会是什么时候了，也不记得是谁的了。。。

我想我已经过了那段追星的日子了。

突然有一天，文杰说有一张票给我，说是Big4的演唱会，叫我一同去看。

刚巧我一个人回吉隆坡办点事，反正晚上没有节目，所以我答应去了。

八点半，准时开唱！许志安，梁汉文，苏永康，张卫建，The Big4 出场啦！

本人觉得这四子老了很多。。。算一算，我从中学时期就听他们的歌了，也有十年多。。。这四位仁兄也都四十余岁了。哇老也！酱老了meh？

就评一评他们的表现吧。。。

许志安，声音不再年轻，唱得好沉，声音key好低。他唱那首“爱你”，是我的k歌必点的歌之一，令我有点失望，不大好听也。

梁汉文，很认真的唱，也表现的最稳。他是一位很棒的歌手，歌也很好听。

苏永康，表现不俗，排在我的排行榜的第二名。他的歌曲，耳熟能詳，经典歌曲真是太棒了。

张卫建，他。。。负责搞气氛，搞搞笑。他的歌曲没几首。而且还频频偷看“猫纸”。看来他真的忘记唱歌了。但他还是最受欢迎的。

演唱会于十一时半结束，encore了一次，唱了一首medley，就没了。到最后，全部人再也按耐不住的站了起来，一起跟着音乐起舞。全场high翻了。

结束后，我们塞着车出parking。然后去吃宵夜。。。肥死了！

哈哈。。。美好的一夜。。。让我又再回到中学那段爱唱歌的时候！好好怀念一下。。。

What is CKD, SKD, CBU?

We always hear ppl saying CKD, SKD, CBU for cars... when come to Kia, Naza, Honda, Toyota, Hyndai, Merz, BMW...etc.

What do they mean? I totally have no idea until i come across an article telling me how to differentiate.

CKD - Completely Knocked Down
Means, all parts has been knocked down into pieces, imported into country, then only re-assemble back in local assembly factory.

SKD - Semi-Knocked Down
Means, some major/important parts were imported, like engine, caburator, chasis, starter...etc. Then will be assemble in local car assembly factory.

CBU - Completely Build Up
Means, fully imported whole car into country.

Now you have know already, i am sure it will help you to understand what the salesman is trying to sell you when you are planning to buy a car.

One fine day, i was driving, stopping my car at a traffic light. And then i found out, infront of my car is having something quite amuzing.

There is actually a lizzard, grabbing hard at the tail of the car. It's look like it will going to fall soon. I bet it is shiiting his pants if it has any pants on.

I not sure how far the car had travel and how fast it travel too...

Hakka Restaurant, Melaka Raya

I am Hakka. So tat means my kid also Hakka la. In order for him to familiar with Hakka-nese, i bring him for 1st taste of some hakka food.

He always not corporating when taking picture.

This is Hakka Restaurant located in Melaka Raya.

I have ordered lamb soup.

Smoke gets in your eyes! The herbs make the soup good and no more lamb smell.

This is Hakka fried noodle. Well, how you differentiate? as long as got the leek, it will mostly hakka food, trust me. This noodle is ok ok only for you guys, i guess. Ah dear does not like it much. But for me, this makes me think of my mom. The flavour is similar to home cook food. I dunno la... mebbe i m too miss home cook food gua...

Hakka Yong Tau Foo! Always delicious, cook with some gravy... yummy yummy!

This BBQ pork goes really well with the mantou. I always love this dish!

Soft and hot mantou!

Look at the fatssssss~~~ so yummy! Not geli at all!

Try it! they have several branch, as far as i know, there is another one in tmn merdeka.

Price is slightly above average but the food you get is something different from wat you normally get in melaka. It's worth a try!

VS: Very special, 木桶酿制超过5年。

VSOP: Very special old pale，木桶酿制超过8年。

Napolean: 比VSOP长，但比XO短，木桶酿制超10年。

My Olympus has been blind for quite sometime already. I manage to get to bid online for its spare part. It's in UK. So, i ask for a friend's help. She bid for me with 2.20pound + 1.5pound postage. Not even RM20. Worth a try la.

After much awaited months, her parents bring it back to malaysia after visiting in UK. I received it last week.

Open up and check out the parts. Rusted condition and the camera outlook is so rugged feel. VEry heavy duty user i guess.

See?! the comparison of my well care camera.

Okay, open up and see, all i need is just a bloody ribbon. Flex type.

Yup, this is the one. Unscrew and change the whole piece of LCD. This is my objective, main goal.

i open my camera carefully...praying hard it will works, else...i need to ganti rugi to ah dear. The sony NEX5 is too damn expensive and will cause my wallet a big hole. So, i must do this carefully, no mistakes is allow here.

After i am done with the replacement, i put on all the screws and it the moment of truth! i can hear my heartbeat now. I need to test it... finger on the on/off button.

Greedy & big spender lately

Lately i become very greedy, i poison myself! And i heal myself, and poison again and heal and poison....after a few cycle, the healing is useless. I cannot be Peter Petrelli or Claire in Heroes can healing.

But look at the bright side, i spend a little to pospone more from buying a 2nd body. I think this solution works for the time being and can satisfied my greediness.

My wishlist now is :

3rd party battery Grip - RM180
3rd party battery - RM75
8GB CF Card - RM unknown
1TB HDD - RM unknown
2nd body - RM2250
17-50 f2.8 - RM 1200

So, Item #1 & #2, at least can keep me going till end of this year. I have placed order today, and hopefully i can get it by this week and play around with it. Next shooting, my camera will have a facelift, i will be looking more pro! Actually, the BG is prevent me from hurting my wrist la. Lately my wrist is having pain after shooting. Extra battery is to prevent any "chua sai" moment from happening in last shooting.

For item #3 & #4, PC Fair is around the corner, will go and look see look see. =)

OK, now, excuse me, I need to do some healing works...

老实说，这架相机的状况不理想，有点脏。但是，我没介意，因为我知道它有一段历史了。任何东西都很难抵挡岁月的摧残。更何况我可以让它复新！

我把它外表擦拭干净。然后逐步打开内部，逐一擦拭一番。我还给它上油呢。

我还蛮喜欢拆开机动部分。很扎实。我可以从中学习怎么用这架相机。更加的了解里面是怎样的。

简单的构造。简单的零件。不简单的摄影！

它被我复新了以后，我敢说80%新！

"Chua Sai" inccident

One fine day, i was heading to muar. Without noticing my fuel tank...

Half way driving on the so call melaka-muar "highway", i realise something was blinking on my speedometer panel. To my shock! my fuel tank is nearly empty. i din know how long it has started to blink. Could it be in melaka? or just... but i remember i saw it left one bar yesterday nite. OMG!

Then it could be started to blink when i coming from melaka.

Immediately i wind down my window, OFF the aircond, maintain a constant speed. Praying hard i could reach muar which is 30 more km away... i become malai-zai, put my hand outside, playing with the wind, not smoking or holding up a cigarette. So, i can only be a half malai-zai.

Look at my kan-cheong face... damn it, i dun wanna stand by the road side and begging for help. And worse, i had an appointment to attend...

I keep driving and keep monitor the stupid blinking LED. Pls la... let me pass thru this time... i dun want to end up sweating like mad.

10min gone and i can see far far away, the lovely signage... oooooo~~~~bliss... turn in immediately and had a FULL TANK fill up!

I never been so happy before going into a petrol station. If possible, i would like to jump and shout! Hahahaha...

Nearly shit my pants...hahhaha....just joking!

Anyway, i would like to share a useful tips with you, just in case ur petrol runs out, and you can make phone calls, middle of the nite, middle of nowhere... wat can u do?

U can pick up a few stones, cleaned away the dust or sands. Throw it into ur tank, this will make ur fuel being sufficient to reach. I think this can help you to start the engine and run extra few KM gua.

This tips was being share by a friend and logically i think, it might works! who knows!

Here is my 3 latest vintage camera bought online. Been searching for long for this...

1) Mudan aka Peony, china made vintage TLR. Uses 120mm film.

2) Certo KN 35, russia made, U.S.S.R to be exact. It's a lomo camera, uses 35mm film.

3) Cmeha 35, russia made, U.S.S.R to be exact. It's a lomo camera too, uses 35mm film. Plastic, very toy feel.

I hope they will give me suprises. I will bring them out in next shooting. The cleaning process still on-going. I hope i can recond them to tip-top condition.

姑丈他发生了交通意外，过世了！就在往做工的途中。。。

LEGO, BrickBastion.com & "Shop, Blog & Win Lucky Draw" Contest

When i was young, i always wanted LEGO to play with as i am the youngest child in the family. No one play with me. So i have lotsa toys. But not LEGO. During the 80s~90s, shopping mall isn't many, we seldom see LEGO selling @ shopping malls.

Most of the time i get to see it in ToyR'us in ampang. My uncle will bring me along to Toy'Rus, me and my cousin were like in haven. We ran around, playing like nobody business. We were so happy there. There is one fine moment, i stop right infront of a car model made of LEGOs. I was so amazed how LEGO can do. I wanted it... I wanted to play with it.

Of cos, i did not get the LEGO. But my uncle bought a bucket of LEGO for his sons, i.e my cousins. So from that day on, we played together-gether. We let our imagination run wild. We build a lot of fighter jets, racing cars, tank, houses...etc.

But still, i don't owned a LEGO. Until there is another day, my parents visited a relatives house, they brought me along. As the elderly are chit-chating and i am playing with my own. Suddenly i notice something interesting on the display shelf next to the TV. It's a LEGO, fighter jet model. I stand there, looking for a long time. And the elder notices me, and give it to me. I was like....oh yeah! i have a LEGO at last. Of cos, as usual, in a chinese family, in such situation... my parents will reject the offer...but in the end i still get that LEGO. Hahahaha... From there i started my LEGO project. I build alot of things, i keep them at my bedside while i am sleeping. I am so precious about it.

After 20years+, i didn't know where is the LEGO now, i remember i have given it to some kids. When i am a teenager, i cannot play with LEGO anymore, my friends would have laught at me. So, i gave it away...

But, this does not stop me from loving LEGO, they are so creative and interesting in any shapes or in anything. Till now, i still stop by, take a look on the LEGOs on display shelf. Admire how wonderful it is. I hope my son will love it too... i would like him to build up his good imagination with LEGO, grow up with LEGOs!
