Island Red Cafe, Melaka

Open for quite sometimes already but I never have enuff courage to try it out. Because everytime i passed by, I see only few "miao" inside. No confidence! But then there is one day, somebody tell me this cafe in KL quite a hits place, good food. Well, since got ppl say nice... I mai go n try it out.

When i was inside...wah...so good, spacious! With free Wi-Fi and there are few PC for you to browse sumore. The food has western and local delight. I love western food la... another choice available here in melaka liao.

Normally i will choose those big big photo on the menu one la... these could be there proud dish. Never go wrong one. I saw the prawn mee so big photo, eager to try out but i would like to have some rice and oso spagetthi! Mama Mia & Pappa Pia!

After ordered our food, ah dear was impress with the roti kahwin next table. So, we ordered one for appetizer, haha! When the food serve, the kaya n butter was serve in a saucer, u like to add how much oso can...according to your taste. Sooo~~ Good! Ah dear was enjoyed with her roti, to be honest, not bad the roti!

Ah dear's seafood spagetthi...yum yum..always my favourite!

Mine pulak, some BBQ-prawn-rice with 2 side dishes. You can choose the side dish horrrrr...by default one worrrr. I have rejected twice for the rice because it is cold...i did not see the steam coming out from the rice. I ask them to "ding" (microwave) for me the 1st time, but then they replace a new plate of rice, but still cold. Again, reject... this time i ask them to "ding" for me again and pls dun need to change the rice, just go n "ding" 2min, ok liao. At last they know how to do it...

Well, this is my free dessert and soup...so pathetic...hahah!

OK, in case u dunno how it look like, this is the interior of the restaurant. Got bench sofa la... next time can come here yumcha liao. Another new place to hang out. So good de.

Price is OK la...actually i dun really rmb how much we ate, but i dun rmb means it still acceptable la. You know wat i mean? =)

My #1 Fansi birthday today...of cos i wanna celebrate with her la. Ah dear and me goto bakery shop nearby our house to get a small small cake, and ask her out for yumcha at a cafe.






Ah dear choose & bought a cake...she say this gonna be a suprise.



We met up in Island Red Cafe in Bkt. Beruang.



She face black black becos we late 5min. No la...joking la...how can we spoilt her mood...nothing will spoilt her mood today la!



Look at wat we wrote on the cake? "Happy Birthday #1 Fan"



See?! in order to celebrate this joyous moment, ah dear and me wear smart smart go leh. I wear shirt for yumcha leh...

BB Bottle

The d-day is coming soon, it's getting nearer and nearer. Now we start looking for BB's stuff during shopping. Start surveying price. At last we found a good bargain during a Baby's fair @MP.

The bottle is cheap! So, we bought one. We start getting ourselves ready liao. Ah dear suggesting this brand is good, so, watever she say is correct cos she has been discussing with friends or browsing over the internet for BB stuff. She knows wat is good la...i trust her...

What else? It seems a young & new parent is inexperience doing all these.

What else do i need to prepare? I dunno...



Well, for the time being, BB bottle is striking off from our list at the moment... I must admit, i was suprise to know the price of an BB bottle.

Football game @High School, Melaka

Another game after last months 9-0 heavily defeat. We look forward for revenge this time.

Me eagerly wanted to play, this feeling was long gone ever since i left school. And my instinct in front of goals getting deteriorate... I play like shit last game. Totally useless... But this time, I wanted to play, i wanted to regain like last time.



My >10years puma boot...i gave it a serious "operation" sometime back. Now still working fine. Y i choose puma last time? becos of R.Fowler, he uses Puma King. So, I followed.

As usual, group photo before the game start. When everyone is still fit and leng chai!



The manager and assitant manager is discussing tactics. And the game get under way! At first, we were unsettled, we were trailing 0-1 in 1st 5min. They we pull 3 goals back berturut-turut. We were on cruise control after the 3rd goal. I was panting heavily, and start seeing "DVD format" already (16:9, where upper and bottom is black)... i can't catch my breath. I was resting and photo shooting after 30min. Pancit it was...hahahah.



So, i snap here snap there... Wesley and Emily was my target "victim". He is scratching his head wondering y this korkor keep snaping pictures one?



Wesley : Jie jie, y this korkor keep taking photos one? Y everyone was in the field playing but he is outside taking pictures?

Justine : Er.....

Then, half time, we were leading 3-2. I perdict the 2nd half score, we were down 5-3...



Kenny is resting and regain his energy for 2nd half.



Emily trying her best to help her dad to regain fitness...hahaha...got cheer leading sumore leh.



End result....guess wat? All pancit... we lose 7-3... nabeh...wadis man? How can we lose so bad one? all old man la...



Michel oso no eye see, he better check out his bra still there or not... no face to see la... embarrassing game.

Again... crappy football game yet for another month... Looking forward for next month's game...if we regain our morale! Hahaha...

Happy Father's Day 2009

Ah dear suggesting to go kings hotel for hi-tea on this years Father's day.



Each and everyone of us was excited. Cos we can eat as much as we can like nobody business. And it's only RM19.90/pax. Senior citizen got discount sumore....soooo good!



I keep eating and eating non-stop!



We drink eat non-stop!



The restaurant gave a father's day present for Daddy... Look at my FIL, he so happy!

But where is mine? Mebbe next year huh?

Shihlin Street Snacks, Dataran Pahlawan

Ah dear suggested to have some snacks before going home after our antenatal class. Shihlin it was... I din know it open in Melaka liao. Look at the shop, look like open for a long time ago. The shop located opposite starbucks.You can find it easily.












So, wat it famous for? Oyster Mee Sua & XXL crispy chicken!

Yummy yummy! I can't compare with the Original taiwan one cos I can't stand the long que and oso eating with standing position. But I can tell you, this one is good!

Tada... our crispy chicken, the size is huge! XXL means really huge la!

Hot and crispy! Let me have 1 bite 1st...

ah dear oso can't resist!

Price for Oyster Mee Sua and XXL Crispy Chicken is RM6.00 each. Both recommended GOOD by me. The rest unknown, yet to explore. You may wanna try it out.
