Half day trip arranged by the travel agent, we negotiate with the tour guide to places we desire to go and granted.
We had our breafast in the hotel and the van come and pick us up 8.30am.
We went straight to four faced buddha nearby for prayers.
A short journey but still caught in a jam... Travelling by car in Bangkok is a pain in the @ss.
Even McD here do Sawadee-kap style. Then the tour guide bring us to jewelry shop & honey shop. We ask them to drop us at Grand palace and we will proceed from there.
We reach grand palace around 12something, entrance ticket cost us 300BHT/pax.
Allow me to share some of the nice building & scenery photos here.
I love here because I could see all the cultural things as well as I could snap lotsa photos here. Unfortunately I did not bring my camera bag along due to Day1 experience. Totally wrong judgement...haih...
Shinning gold background is excellent for portrait shooting.
Hide & Seek?
Little monk waiting for boat at the pier.
We boarded the boat and enjoying the nice scenery on both sides.
Colourful boat service on Chao-phrya river.
We took BTS to Siam paragon.
We saw the creativity from the Thais. A X'mas tree made up by coke cans.
A X'mas tree made up by CDs...
Everyone said must visit MBK shopping malls as it offers cheap shopping. But to me, it's like sg. wang back home...nothing interest me.
In Bangkok, even the toilet signage are cute!!! We spend our afternoon here window shopping, sigh-seeing. We did not buy much stuff as our heart left in Platinum and looking forward on tomolo's Chatuchak market.

Monk is praying...
After spending abt 1hour here we left the palace to have some light lunch along the roadside. Do try out the coffee at any of the roadside coffee stalls, it was good!

After filling up our tummy, we took a boat ride to end of the pier.

We went back to hotel for shower and massage is a must for us as we walked a lot today. After massage we went for dinner nearby.
Nothing special for the dinner. So some of us went back hotel after dinner to try out the clothes which just bought and had a little beer session. Beer here is cheap! Singha is always my choice!
