This is our hotel bf la... got western food, oso got local vietnamese - Pho Bo! To be honest, this pho bo is far better than yesterday's lunch...
After bf, we get ready ourselves to start our Halong journey. We checked out hotel, leave our luggage in hotel store room. Only bring some clothes for overnite on board.
The journey from Hanoi to harbour took abt 3 1/2hours. Nothing much along the way, just some green green padi field, and some green green padi field...tat's all. Oh yeah, as usual in any of the tour in the world, the driver will took a 20min rest at their selected stops, i.e souveniour shop. I dun interested at all, so, i buy nothing! hehehe...

After 3 1/2 hours, we then arrive in harbour. The tour guide took our passport and buy the tickets. This place is so damn crowded with tourist, it was so humid without any wind blows... i started to regret to bring any of my beach attire with me for this trip...sigh~
Was so excited when i saw these boats or junk... i keep taking photos...but then, soon, everywhere is the same, so i got bored eventually...hahahha, no joke, the harbour is full of these junks... i should say, seas of junks...
There are many small small sampan here too...

After boarded, we were welcome with a pathetic half glass of welcome drink, and a cold towel. Then, rooms are being distributed and we were told to get in room, refresh, settle down and come back out for lunch.
The room is small but still acceptable... it's already with air conditioned. Felt so suang~ Bath room is clean and bright. Overall not bad.
After settle down, we come out from room, lunch is in preparation, we spend some time taking photos around the cruise. I really regret i did not bring sun lotion too...
Hooray! We are going to Halong Bay lorrrr....

Lunch is served, with seafood... prawn, fish, vege, tofu, cucumber, and spring roll. The so called seafood, fish...are deadly smell of mud... is not seafood...we are sure!

We saw many of these HK style of cruise around. They are so beautiful... too bad our cruise isn't look like this.

At last, we reached sung sot cave after 2 hours of cruising. It's so slow... then we need to climb to some stairs, it was tiring and all of us are tired and panting...

Look at the beautiful scenery before entering the cave...the junks are so crowded here too.
All those ghostly spotlighted lime stones... suddenly, felt so cooling here. Nowonder those caveman like to stay inside the cave la... natural air-con. The tour guide did explain some of the stones to us, point to us look like wat... to be honest, sometimes i cannot see where is it and just couldn't imagine it does look it wat he said... i just nod my head nia...cincai la...
However, i was amazed with all the nature shape stones...it's beautiful la...i must admit!
After come out from the cave, we were rushed by tour guide to get in our junk. Manage to take some photos of how ppl living on the boat, or earning a living on a boat.
Then, we were brought to a place and were told to get off and do some kayaking around. Din take any photos for kayaking cos too dangerous for my Dslr.
With no drinks served or water served, we need to buy on the junk with higher price. So, i curi-curi negotiate with those lady selling on sampan, bought a few bottle of mineral water for all of us. With 10k per bottle.
So thirsty...
After the kayaking, we anchored somewhere nearby and nothing much to do liao. I can only sleep on the dect cos inside room no air-con as it only starts function during nite. Beside, sleeping, sun bathing, i try to shoot saround too. But then again, got bored very fast cos everywhere is the same... Manage to get some nice sunset photos la...somehow...
Dinner was rather pathetic... one prawn each per pax, mud taste fish again, wedges, and squiiiiiiid......ball......slice... ta ma de! When i finished my dinner, i went behind and saw the crew had better dinner than us... the got REAL squid, bigger fish...and free flow of canned drinks... this is so unfair, we are not allowed to bring food or drinks on board...niama! But i not stupid too, i took my water bottle, refill from their dispenser. I dun care...i need water...where got no provide drinking water one...WTF?!?!?!
Sumore the food, i am not looking down on them, but how can the crew's food is better than guest? we pay money one leh...halo~~ i even start to suspect, are they swapping our food with theirs? At least equally same la... was disappoint to the max la!
Then the bath room water is so weak...i oso lazy to shower...i wait until before i sleep then only bath, cos here, u sweat for no reason one...simple sweat one... During nite, we were so so so bored, we got nothing to do...the ladies were playing cards game, for me, i only walk here walk there...take photos...but can't get a steady shot la...even thought i use tripod. So, i went to sleep so damn early. The tour guide was sux, i need to go and ask him what time meet up for bf tomolo... bad bad experience!
